Tuition Assistance is available through the Archdiocese of San Francisco Family Grants, BASIC Fund and Our Lady of Mount Carmel School’s Tuition Assistance Fund. Information and applications for the first two can be found on the Department of Catholic Schools website. Information about our Tuition Assistance Fund appears below.
Applicants to the Archdiocesan Family Grant Program and OLMC’s Tuition Assistance Program are required to demonstrate financial need by completing an online application directly to TADS, the 3rd party service that evaluates financial information of all applicants for all schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco. TADS then makes recommendation to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School and the Archdiocese as to the amount a family can afford for tuition.
All families must submit an online application and pay the fee directly to TADS.
It is highly recommended that your complete the worksheet prior to going online to submit your application to TADS.
All applications are due to TADS by April 15, 2016, no exceptions. Please note that only one TADS application is required per family per academic year. If you have multiple children attending different schools (Catholic elementary and Catholic high school) you need only submit one application. You will be directed to select the schools your children attend during the application process. Additionally, if you are applying for the Archdiocesan Family Grant, there is an opportunity to indicate this information on the TADS application.
OLMC Tuition Assistance Fund
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School is proud to be one of the few schools on the Peninsula to be able to offer its own Tuition Assistance program. We have been blessed with many gifts, both large and small, and are touched by the generosity of our alumni, alumni parents and parishioners.
Administered by the school administration, many factors in addition to financial need are considered. These factors include changes in family structure, how many children are enrolled at OLMC and if older children in the family are also attending Catholic High School. Families must re-apply each year, and no one child receives a 100% tuition benefit.
