Students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade were armed with practical life-skills in the first trimester by participating in Community Service, Study Skills, Home Economics, or Coding/Technology enrichment pods. OLMC 6th & 7th grade students were led by Mrs. Furrer, 8th grade Homeroom teacher, in their new OLMC Service Learning Enrichment Pod!

Celebrating Dia de los Muertos at OLMC. A special thank you to parents who helped set up our Dia de los Muertos ofrenda, or altar, in the rotunda. It is a beautiful and welcoming place for our community to gather, remember, pray, and celebrate our loved ones who have died. Embracing these traditions, our we will be gathering in the rotunda on Wednesday, October 30 from 8:15-9:15am for delicious homemade hot chocolate and sweet bread to celebrate as a community. The PPA Bilingual Committee will be there to answer any questions parents may have about the school. We hope to see everyone there. All of our school families are invited to bring a small wallet-size photo of a loved one who died to put on the altar with a dedication. Any donation of marigold flowers in pots or to place in vases would also be appreciated.
8th goes to Caritas Creek Camp!
