Campus Facilities

Our Campus

We are pleased that we are able to provide dedicated subject learning facilities for all grades, Pre-School through 8th, to enhance their daily experience at Mount Carmel School.

Dedicated Science Center

The Science Center is used by grades K – 8. The center includes video microscopes, sinks, lab tables providing the abilty to conduct both short and long term experiments.

During the summer of 2015, we created two new Library spaces. Our Primary Library for grades TK - 2 is located downstairs and shares space with our TK. TK resides there in the mornings and the space is used as a Library after lunch.  Upstairs, we have a brand new Upper Grade Library used by grades 3 - 8.

Our gymnasium is located in the space originally occupied by the parish church from 1932 until the current church was completed in 1956. The gymnasium floor was not present then, but the choir loft was, and is today a part of our Upper Grade Library, which overlooks the gym.

The gym, also referred to as the Large Hall, is used for PE, after school sports program, student assemblies, dramatic performances and for many fund raising and community events and was renovated during the summer of 2014.

Play Yard and Play Structures

Completed in 2009, the renovated school yard was the result of a two year fundraising effort and included parent, parishioner, alumni and Foundation support.

Two play structures provide physical play for all grades and our basketball hoops are used for PE and our aspiring NBA players at recess and lunch.

A Kid's Place
